I have been a CASA volunteer serving children in foster care as the friendly grown-up who stayed with them as they transitioned through different stages of their journey to a stable home. I have also volunteered at my child’s PTSA as an advocate to make every child’s potential a reality.

I serve on the board of several organizations in our community including the Apple STEM Network and The Bridge Research & Innovation District. I also serve in the STEM Education Innovation Alliance to advise Governor Jay Inslee on policies to align and advance STEM Education statewide.

About Karina:

My husband and I moved to Wenatchee in 2013 to raise our children with the loving support of our extended family, who are long time Chelan and Wenatchee residents.

I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time in our beautiful local parks.
